Method 2 – Water-based extraction

Raw Mitragyna speciosa leaves are softened in a mixture of ethanol and water. Lemon juice or citric acid are added to act as preservatives. The extract is tested for pH acidity. It is put in a tinted bottle after giving a generous round of shakes and put away in a dark place for about 14 days. The mixture is then strained and left for evaporation. The extract transforms into a thick potion and is ready for storage.

This method yields a better-concentrated Kratom strain. This process is followed for making most of the liquid Kratom extracts.

Method 3 – Resin extraction

Resin extraction is different from the previous two. An extract made by this method can get the most potent product. It can also be stored for a longer time due to its higher concentration. It is important to remember that no matter what Kratom extract is made, it should be put in tinted airtight bottles and stored away from sunlight and a strong smell.
