It originates from West Kalimantan’s Kapuas Hulu district, a rainforest country where river air and filtered light shape leaf chemistry. Smallholders tend mature trees on mixed farms, not vast plantations. It’s a tight region, which is why good Kapuas kratom feels consistent from batch to batch when sourced well.
Leaves are picked at a narrow window (ripe but still bright), then Hulu kratom leaves are dried with care: brief sun to set color and controlled shade to protect aromatics. Afterward, we mill Hulu Kapuas kratom at low heat and sift it for an even texture. The powder is then ready to ship or to be put into our premium kratom capsules.
